How we grade and check
Pallets come back to our Southampton yard from warehouses, manufacturers and distributors around the Solent. Each one is inspected: boards, blocks and bearers are checked, damaged pallets are set aside for repair or recovery, and the rest are sorted into grades so we can match the pallet to the job.
For outbound loads going to a customer, you will usually want a stronger, cleaner grade. For internal storage or moving stock between bays, tell us the load and handling requirements so we can recommend a suitable option. Any racking use must be assessed against the pallet specification and your racking system. Tell us what the pallet has to carry, how far it travels and who sees it, and we will recommend rather than upsell.

- Every pallet is checked before it leaves the yard and sorted by grade, so you know whether you are getting a near-new pallet for outbound loads or a serviceable pallet for internal movements. Tell us the job and we will match the grade to it.
- Which sizes do you stock?
- Mainly UK Standard (1200 x 1000 mm) and Euro-size (1200 x 800 mm) pallets, with other sizes appearing depending on what has come back through the yard. Ask for a specific size and we will tell you what is available.
- Can you supply the same pallets every week?
- Recurring supply is common with used pallets, though availability varies with what is returned to us. If you need a consistent grade and volume, tell us the weekly or monthly numbers so we can plan around them.
- Where in Southampton can we collect or take delivery of used pallets?
