Privacy policy
This policy explains what Southampton Pallets, operated by Palletmove Limited, does with the information you send us through this website.
Who we are
Southampton Pallets is a trading name of Palletmove Limited. Our operating yard is at Stoneham Lane, Southampton, SO16 2NZ. The registered office of Palletmove Limited is Itchen Business Park, Kent Road, Southampton, SO17 2LJ. You can reach us on 023 8017 1049 or at info@southamptonpallets.co.uk during Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
What information we collect
When you complete our enquiry form we collect the details you provide: your name, company, email address, telephone number, the type of enquiry, pallet type and condition, dimensions, quantity, delivery or collection postcode, the date you need, whether the requirement is one-off or recurring, any export requirement, and your message.
How we use your information
We use these details to respond to your enquiry, to prepare a quote, and to arrange any delivery or collection that follows. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Storage and who can see it
Enquiries are stored securely and are only accessible to the people at Palletmove Limited who handle quotations and bookings, and to the service providers who host our website and email on our behalf. Enquiry details are not published or made visible to other website visitors.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, to fulfil any resulting order, and to meet our ordinary business and legal record-keeping obligations. After that they are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Contact us at info@southamptonpallets.co.uk or 023 8017 1049 and we will deal with your request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (provided by Google) to see how many people visit the site, which pages they use and which enquiry actions they take, so we can improve the site. Analytics cookies and analytics storage are switched off by default. Nothing is measured unless you choose “Accept analytics” in the cookie notice; if you choose “Reject”, analytics stays off. Your choice is stored in your browser, and you can change it by clearing your browser storage for this site and choosing again.
Where analytics is accepted, we only send Google non-personal information such as the page visited, your approximate location and device, and simple event names for actions like requesting a quote, clicking our telephone number or clicking our email address. We never send the details you type into the enquiry form — your name, company, email address, telephone number, postcode or message are not passed to Google Analytics. IP addresses are anonymised.
Apart from analytics, the only cookies or storage used are those strictly needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice. We do not use advertising or personalisation cookies.
Changes
If we change how we handle enquiry information, we will update this page.
