Coverage
Areas we cover across Southampton, the Solent and Hampshire
We work out from Stoneham Lane, Southampton, SO16 2NZ, which puts the docks, the M27 and the city's industrial estates within easy reach, and most of central and southern Hampshire on a sensible run.
Our coverage in practice

Southampton city and docks
Our home patch: the Western Docks and Eastern Docks, container and freight operators, city-centre retail units and the industrial estates in between. Woolston, Portswood, Bitterne, Shirley and Millbrook are all short runs from our Stoneham Lane base.
Eastleigh, Chandler's Ford and Hedge End
Warehousing, light manufacturing and trade units north and east of the city, close to the M27 and M3. Straightforward for both deliveries and regular collection rounds.
Totton, Hamble and the waterside
Marine, engineering and distribution businesses along the Solent waterfront and around the Test and Itchen, where access can be tighter and worth discussing in advance.
Romsey, Winchester and the New Forest
Sites further out across central and western Hampshire. Deliveries and collections here are planned around vehicle routing, so it helps to give us as much notice as you can.
Just outside these areas? Ask anyway. Whether we can help depends on the pallet type, the quantity and how the route works that week — call 023 8017 1049 or send the details through the quote form.
Southampton port context
Southampton is one of the UK's busiest container and cruise ports, and that shapes the pallet market around it.
Container terminals, freight forwarders and distribution operations around the docks handle a constant flow of inbound goods, and every one of those movements involves pallets. That creates two problems at once: businesses that need reliable pallet supply at short notice, and businesses drowning in empties they cannot use.
Being based in Southampton means we sit on both sides of that flow — supplying used, new and plastic pallets into the city while collecting and recycling what has come to the end of its use.
Area by area
Each of these pages covers what trade is actually there, what the access and roads are like, and the kind of customer we deal with.
Southampton city centre
The city centre is retail, hospitality, student accommodation and offices rather than open yard space, so pallet work here is about fitting deliveries and collections around restricted loading rather than dropping a full load and leaving.
Shirley
Shirley is one of Southampton's busiest suburban trading areas: a long high street of independent shops and branches, trade counters and small workshops, with residential streets packed in behind them.
Woolston
Woolston sits on the east bank of the Itchen, with a long industrial and shipbuilding history and a working mix of marine, engineering and trade businesses alongside the newer riverside development at Centenary Quay.
Bitterne
Bitterne combines a busy retail precinct with the trade and light industrial units spread between Bitterne Road, Thornhill and the Northam side of the river — a mix that generates a steady flow of empty pallets.
Millbrook
Millbrook is one of the most industrial parts of Southampton, running alongside the Western Docks and the Western Approach with trading estate units, distribution depots and vehicle handling operations packed into a narrow strip of the city.
Totton
Totton sits just west of Southampton at the top of the Waterside, with a working set of industrial estates and trade units and the A326 running south towards Marchwood, Hythe and Fawley.
Eastleigh
Eastleigh is our nearest neighbour — our Stoneham Lane yard sits on the edge of it — and it is one of the strongest industrial and distribution areas in the county, shaped by the railway works, the airport and easy M27 and M3 access.
Chandler's Ford
Chandler's Ford pairs a substantial industrial estate with commercial and office premises, sitting between Eastleigh and Hiltingbury with quick access to the M3 at junction 12.
Hedge End
Hedge End is dominated by large-format retail and trade premises around the retail park and the Botley Road corridor, with business units and workshops filling in behind them, all a minute or two from M27 junction 7.
Romsey
Romsey is a market town with a real working side: industrial estates on the edge of the town, food and drink production, engineering and trade premises, set between the M27, the M3 and the Test Valley.
Hythe
Hythe faces Southampton Water across from the docks, with the marina and ferry pier at its centre and the industrial spine of the Waterside running south along the A326 towards Fawley.
Marchwood
Marchwood sits on the western shore of Southampton Water between Totton and Hythe, with an industrial park, logistics and waste and energy operations alongside the village itself.
